I really appreciate what you have done for me and others
in this community. I like your ministry and thank God for all of
you that help others. Most of all, helping save people from Hell
is the most rewarding thing you could do. That is a blessing and
miracle all in itself. Thank you so very much and God bless all
of you and Marathon Ministry. I wish more people in the world were
like you. God bless you! Amen.

I think this ministry will bring in more people because
the love of God they have for everyone. I personally love to come
to Marathon because it helps me to hear the Word of God. I feel
that they do so much work for the Lord. It is a blessing that Marathon
Ministry cares so much to reach out and maybe help save people’s
lives from this bad world and at the same time give them food to
help them and their families. May God Bless all of you doing this
work for the Lord.

First off, I would like to thank God and you all for doing
such a wonderful job. Your ministry has helped my family and me
greatly. It is such a joy to know that there are people out there
who still care for all those that are in need. I enjoy the atmosphere
and the caring and lovely friendly spirit that is felt at Marathon.
May God continue to bless you and your ministry outreach.

The food has really blessed in putting food on my table
since we don’t have the money to really buy what we really
need. May God bless Brother Cooper and the volunteers. We really enjoy the
Bible lesson. May God Bless you in every area of your life.

I really enjoy coming to Marathon Ministry. The food has
really helped me. I only draw a little check, and I don’t
have enough to pay my bills. Keep me in your prayers. You have really
helped me. May God Bless you all.

As a child, I was often hungry. I had to wear hand-me-down
clothing, and I wore my shoes until they fell off my feet. I know
first-hand what it is to be poor and needy. Even now as an adult,
there are times when there just isn’t enough money for bills,
medications and food. Marathon Ministry has helped me with food,
so that my money can go for other needed areas. All the staff and
volunteers at Marathon Ministry have treated me with love, kindness
and dignity. I thank God for their help and compassion.

I just want to say “Thank you” for your kindness
when you and your young people distributed food
to needy people in Davis Trailer Park in Johnson City. My son and
I both have good jobs and we did not need any food. Thank you again
for the people you helped.

Our church, Memorial Baptist, Bluefield,
Va. had the privilege of enjoying Marathon
Ministry during our Prophecy Conference. We learned about the needs and blessings of Marathon
Ministry. Our people responded in a wonderful way. I fully recommend
this wonderful ministry, as well as their representative. God bless
you.

First of all I want you to know that I love
you and so does God. (But you knew that.) I had a wonderful weekend
with you serving the poor. Since you played an important part in this, I would like
to tell you how that weekend changed my life. I knew my life would
be changed as soon as I stepped into the church that Thursday morning.
I just didn't know how much. I had been told that some of the places
we would go to we wouldn't believe were in Johnson City. How true
that was. I had thought that later in my life I would go to some
out of country places and help there. But what I saw that weekend
changed my mind. I decided I would help here first and then go to
some far away country. This experience just totally changed my life.
I never knew that some people lived in so much poverty. In many
ways I feel more thankful for all the blessings God has given me.
I don't think I'll ever complain about my house or my food again.
I'll never forget the kindness some of the people showed me for
the food. I'll never forget the surprise I felt when one lady said
they had just run out of food. And only had a box of pancake mix
left. I now see all the blessings God has given me that I have taken
for granted most of my life. This is how that weekend changed my
life forever.

I really enjoyed having Marathon Ministry come to our church
food and let us participate in the distribution project. I’m glad that we got to talk on
the bus. You’re very easy to have a conversation with. What
I enjoyed most about the food distribution was sharing with others.
I had never seen anyone that poor and I almost cried because the
people were so happy that we were giving food out. I had a bit of
trouble praying at first, but I’m glad now that I did it.
When we went to the Mexican immigrant apartments it was really difficult
to talk with them because most of them couldn’t speak any
English. Going there was also kind of sad because one of the apartments
my group went to only had two beds and some sheets on the floor.
I’m very glad that we got to do that because it gave me a
new perspective on life and how well off I am. Thank you so much
and God bless you.
